Going to the movies..

Movies used to be something that I really enjoyed; the seats, the popcorn, the big screen, the popcorn, surround sound, and popcorn with white cheddar seasoning!  However after some health issues it all got to be too much for me; too loud, too much movement on the screen, too expensive, too many people - just too.  So I have been reduced to one or two movies a year, usually with my friend Marilyn.

Then my niece Bethany took up residence at my house.  She is a movie buff and may attend several movies in one week.  This evening I was already in my Jammie's and settled down to my computer when Beth announced she was off to the movies, then she said it was Sherlock Holmes and asked "would you like to come with me"?  I was ready in two minutes.

And I loved it - beginning a mystery buff  I am steeped in Holmes and I love the casting, setting, action and slice of history. I can give it my highest recommendation.  But why does the volume need to be SO loud, especially for trailers.  Why do the trailers all feature moving shoots from skyscrapers?  And why can't they replenish the toilet paper in the bathrooms?  I could look right after that, but no one asked me?

Holmes, Watson and Watson's bride.  The men recover from their escapades just in time for the wedding!
